VengeancePaladin Sacred Oath — D&D 5e
Oath of Vengeance paladins trade the Devotion oath’s broad virtue for one target and one goal: find the thing that deserves punishing, and punish it before it hurts anyone else. Mechanically this is the highest single-target damage oath in the class — everything about it is built to lock onto one enemy and not let go until it’s down.

Vengeance Features
Level 3 — Channel Divinity: Abjure Enemy
One Channel Divinity option turns a target frightened and cuts its speed to near zero for a turn — a hard shutdown against the one creature that matters most in the fight.
Level 3 — Channel Divinity: Vow of Enmity
The other option grants advantage on every attack roll against one marked creature for a minute — the reason this oath tops single-target DPR charts.
Level 7 — Relentless Avenger
Hitting with an opportunity attack lets you move up to half your speed as part of the reaction, so fleeing targets rarely actually get away.
Level 15 — Soul of Vengeance
Your marked target acting at all can now cost it — you get a reaction attack the instant it takes an action or bonus action, not just when it moves.
Level 20 — Avenging Angel
A flight-capable capstone that adds a fear aura around you, turning the final fight of a long campaign into a genuinely angelic (and genuinely terrifying) finale.
