About us
Who you're writing to
We're a small group of people who play D&D — home games, not a studio. The idea was almost embarrassingly simple: whenever we were mid-search for a rule or a stat block, what we actually wanted next was to generate something with it, right there, instead of tabbing off to a different tool. So we built that, and we still use it at our own table every week.
Reference content is D&D 5e SRD 5.1, used under CC-BY-4.0 and attributed on every page it appears on.
What we build — one
A reference library
Classes, races, spells, monsters, magic items and equipment from the 5e SRD, laid out so you can actually find a ruling mid-session instead of scrolling a PDF.
What we build — two
A forge
Generators that turn a half-formed idea into a character, an NPC, a settlement, a session recap, or a piece of art you can put in front of your players.
The two halves are deliberately on the same page. Looking up what a Paladin's Oath does and actually making one shouldn't be two different websites.
What we won't do
- No invented rules
Everything in the library that comes from the SRD is marked as such, and anything we generate is clearly ours, not Wizards of the Coast's. When our tools guess, we'd rather say so than dress a guess up as a citation.
- No hostage-taking
Your characters, worlds and images are exportable. If you decide this was a mistake, you leave with the files you made here.
- A free tier that is a tier
Not a demo that stops at the interesting part — and you don’t need an account to read a single word of the library.
Who it's for
Mostly DMs running long campaigns — the people whose prep load is the reason a game dies. The library exists for the ruling you need in the next ninety seconds; the forge exists for the session you have to run on Friday and haven't started.
But everything here works fine if you just want a portrait for a one-shot character, or a name for the innkeeper you didn't plan for.
We build for the table we sit at. If a feature wouldn't survive a Friday night with four players waiting, it doesn't ship.
