Aberrant MindSorcerer Sorcerous Origin — D&D 5e
Aberrant Mind sorcerers carry something not of this world lodged in their psyche — a whisper from beyond the stars that rewired how their brain works. It solves the sorcerer’s classic problem of a narrow spell list by grafting on a wide slice of psionic and divination magic.

Level 1 — Psionic Spells
You learn an extra mind-themed cantrip that doesn’t count against the number of spells you know, seeding your list with psionic flavor from the start.
Level 6 — Psychic Defenses
As a bonus action, you can raise a mental ward around yourself that grants resistance to psychic damage and pushes back against attempts to charm or frighten you.
Level 14 — Tendrils of Thought
After landing certain spells, you can lash out with a bonus action using spectral tendrils of thought to grip and batter a nearby enemy.
Level 18 — Aberrant Ascension
Once per day, you can briefly ascend into a truer form of your alien nature — gaining flight, immunity to being charmed or frightened, and an extra jolt of power whenever you cast a spell.
