You touch a creature and can end either one disease or one condition afflicting it. The condition can be blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned.

Usage

Best Used For

1The word "paralyzed" is why this is always prepared. A ghoul, or a Hold Person, and your fighter is a statue being auto-critted — this ends it.
2One condition or one disease per cast, and the list is exact: blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned. Nothing else.
3What it does not touch: charmed, frightened, stunned, petrified, exhaustion. Those want Greater Restoration or a different answer entirely.
4Action plus touch: you spend your whole turn and you have to be standing there. Freeing the paralysed ally costs you the round — usually the right trade.

Counsel

Lesser Restoration, Answered

What conditions does Lesser Restoration cure?

Exactly four — blinded, deafened, paralyzed, or poisoned — one per casting. It can end one disease instead.

Does Lesser Restoration cure exhaustion?

No. Exhaustion needs Greater Restoration (5th level), which removes one level. Lesser Restoration does not touch it.

Does Lesser Restoration cure charmed or frightened?

No — neither is on its list. Greater Restoration handles charm; frightened generally has to be countered another way or waited out.

Can Lesser Restoration end Hold Person?

Yes. Hold Person paralyzes, and paralyzed is on the list — a touch and an action frees the target, though the caster can simply try again on their turn.
