DivinationWizard Arcane Tradition — D&D 5e
Diviners don’t just predict the future — they edit it, banking small pieces of fortune ahead of time and cashing them in exactly when a roll matters most. It’s widely considered one of the strongest wizard traditions in the game precisely because it turns luck into a resource you control.

Divination Features
Level 2 — Divination Savant
Copying a divination spell into your spellbook costs you less time and less gold than usual, letting your book of foresight grow faster than other wizards’.
Level 2 — Portent
After each long rest, you roll a couple of d20s and set them aside, and at any point before your next long rest you can substitute one of those rolls for an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw made by anyone nearby.
Level 6 — Expert Divination
Whenever you cast a divination spell of 2nd level or higher, you regain a small piece of your spellcasting resources, letting your foresight pay for itself over the course of a day.
Level 10 — The Third Eye
As an action, you can open your third eye and choose one of several perceptive gifts — darkvision, seeing invisible creatures, reading any language, or seeing in the dark and beyond — lasting until you lose concentration.
Level 14 — Greater Portent
The number of fate dice you bank after a long rest increases, giving you more chances throughout the day to rewrite a roll that matters.
