the HexbladeWarlock Otherworldly Patron — D&D 5e

The Hexblade bargains with a sentient weapon or a lord of the Shadowfell’s blades, and the payoff is a warlock who can genuinely fight — this is the closest the class gets to a melee build, marking one enemy for death and cutting it down with cursed steel.

the Hexblade Features

Level 1Hexblade’s Curse

A limited number of times per day, you can lay a curse on a target: your hits against it deal extra damage, your critical range against it widens, and if it dies while cursed you recover a sliver of your own life force.

Level 1Hex Warrior

You gain proficiency with medium armor, shields, and martial weapons, and can use your Charisma instead of Strength or Dexterity for attack and damage rolls with a chosen weapon.

Level 6Accursed Specter

When you take damage, you can use your reaction and spend a spell slot to conjure a brief spectral ward that soaks up part of the hit.

Level 10Sign of Ill Omen

A creature suffering under your curse finds its attacks against you faltering, rolling with disadvantage as the hex works against it.

Level 14Soul Reaper

When your cursed target dies, you can immediately mark another nearby enemy with the same curse, letting the killing carry on without pause.
