SwashbucklerRogue Roguish Archetype — D&D 5e
Swashbuckler is the duelist rogue — the one who does not need a friend to flank with because the whole subclass is built to get Sneak Attack off one-on-one. You pick a target, plant yourself in front of it, and dare anyone else in the fight to try and pull your attention away.

Swashbuckler Features
Level 3 — Showstopper
You can fix a target’s attention on you in melee, giving other creatures disadvantage on attacks against it while you get a bonus to your own attacks against that same target.
Level 3 — Fancy Footwork
A quick Deception or Intimidation check lets you disengage from a creature adjacent to you without provoking an opportunity attack, so you can hit and slip away in the same turn.
Level 9 — Dazzling Rebuke
Landing Sneak Attack lets you follow it up with a Deception check that can rattle the target into losing part of its next turn to fear or hesitation.
Level 13 — Masterful Swordplay
Your escape trick from Fancy Footwork scales up, letting you shrug off multiple attackers or reposition more freely mid-duel.
Level 17 — Lone Wolf
If no ally is within reach when a fight begins, you get a bonus to both attack rolls and AC for that fight, rewarding you for doing exactly what this subclass wants — going it alone.
