ScoutRogue Roguish Archetype — D&D 5e
Scout is the hit-and-run specialist, built for skirmishing in the wild as much as sneaking through a dungeon. You track better, move faster, and are consistently the first one into a fight and the first one out of it, striking from position instead of standing toe to toe.

Scout Features
Level 3 — Skilled Explorer
You gain expertise in Nature and Survival, making you the party’s default answer for tracking quarry and reading unfamiliar terrain.
Level 3 — Unerring Instinct
If your initiative roll comes in low, you can swap it for a fixed value instead and pick up a burst of speed, so a bad roll no longer costs you the ambush.
Level 9 — Uncanny Tracker
Your read on wild terrain sharpens further and the range at which you can set up an ambush expands, letting you strike from farther out than most enemies expect.
Level 13 — Sudden Strike
At the top of a fight you can slip into a stealthy position and land an attack as part of the same movement, opening combat already hidden and already swinging.
Level 17 — Instant Reaction
Whenever a creature near you ends its turn, you can react by moving up to half your speed without provoking, letting you dart in for one more hit or bail out of danger on someone else’s clock.
