Beast MasterRanger Ranger Conclave — D&D 5e
Beast Master ties your fate to a companion creature that fights, scouts, and travels at your side. The original version of this archetype was infamous for eating your action economy alive — you either spent your own turn ordering the beast around or it flailed on its own. The revised version fixes that bottleneck outright, letting the bond function as a real force multiplier instead of a tax on your turn.

Beast Master Features
Level 3 — Animal Companion
You gain a beast companion that travels and fights beside you, rolling attacks and damage off your own ability scores, though it needs a bonus action from you to act with any purpose — left alone, it can only Dodge.
Level 7 — Bond of Fur and Blood
When your companion takes a hit, you can pull part of that damage onto yourself, letting the two of you absorb punishment as a pair instead of losing the beast outright.
Level 11 — Coordinated Assault
A hit from your companion lets you spend your reaction to strike the same target, and the reverse holds too, so the two of you can chain attacks onto whoever is already staggering.
